WhisperKOOL alarm codes are not the same on every model. An E1 on an SC PRO, a P1 on an Extreme ti and an E1 on a Platinum Split all point to the bottle probe, but the steps and the extra codes differ by controller. This free printable puts every code from WhisperKOOL's current owner's manuals on two pages, sorted so you can find your controller first.
What's inside the cheat sheet
- Controller finder: which controller your model uses and how its codes appear on the display.
- SC PRO, Slimline LS and 2500 Cabinet: E1, E2, E3, AH1, AL1, COH and Ad3 with the first fix for each.
- Extreme ti: P1, P2, HA, LA and POF.
- Circuit-board controllers (Extreme tiR, Phantom, Platinum Split, Ceiling Mount, Quantum, Blow-Through): E1, E2, E7, E10, EA, AH1, AL1 and Ad2.
- AH1/AL1 thresholds by model: which models alarm at 4°F and which at 8°F.
- When to call: WhisperKOOL Customer Service or a licensed HVAC-R technician, plus a space to write down your model, serial number and code.
Where the information comes from
Every code, threshold and first step comes from WhisperKOOL's current owner's manuals for each series. Codes vary by controller and model version, so always confirm in your manual.
